Online vehicle auction company Copart UK were delighted to host local MP Richard Benyon and the Greenham Common Trust at their newest UK facility.
Nigel Paget, Chief Executive Officer – Europe commented “It was a pleasure to welcome Newbury MP Richard Benyon and our partners Greenham Common Trust to visit our recently opened facility at Greenham Business Park. This new purpose built facility is one of 15 locations in the UK, and around 200 worldwide, and brings Copart’s investment in the UK to over £250m. There are 57 new jobs in Newbury as a result, alongside around £3m additional benefit to the local economy each year, and I would like to thank Greenham Common Trust for their help and support in the successful launch of this new facility”.
Copart made the decision to invest £13m to open our facility at Newbury due to the location of Greenham Business Park and the truly collaborative approach of the Greenham Common Trust. This location further adds to Copart’s strategically positioned network of facilities across the UK, helping support Copart’s continued growth. With this new location and increasing online vehicle auctions, Copart aim to provide even greater convenience to their customers worldwide.
Copart’s Newbury online auctions take place every Thursday through Copart.co.uk and allow Copart Members to bid on and win thousands of vehicles every week.
